Minimum order quantity by order type

MOQ is set per product and fabric, not a single fixed number across the catalog. These ranges are typical starting points — we confirm an exact figure once we've reviewed your product.

Order typeTypical MOQBest for
Sample only1–5 pcs per styleTesting fit, fabric, or a new design before committing
Small batch50–300 pcs per styleMarket testing, a private label launch, first purchase order
Bulk / wholesale500+ pcs per styleRetail-scale orders, repeat programs, container shipping

Multiple colorways or sizes within one style can often be combined to help reach a batch MOQ — ask us when you send your product details.

Production timeline, stage by stage

Indicative ranges for a first-time order. Repeat orders on an approved style move faster, since sampling is already done.

StageTypical durationNotes
Sampling & approval7–15 daysDepends on design complexity and revision rounds
Fabric & trim sourcing5–10 daysUsually runs in parallel with sampling
Bulk production20–35 daysScales with order size and customization
QC & packing3–5 daysPre-shipment inspection and carton preparation
Shipping — sea freight25–40 daysTo major US & European ports
Shipping — air freight5–10 daysFaster, higher cost — used for urgent or smaller orders

A first bulk order typically lands door-to-door in roughly 8–12 weeks via sea freight, sampling included. We confirm an exact schedule once your product and quantity are set.

Why MOQ varies by product

A minimum isn't arbitrary — it reflects what's actually efficient to produce.

Fabric roll minimums

Mills often sell fabric in fixed roll lengths, which sets a practical floor for how small a run can be.

Customization complexity

Custom labels, prints, or trims involve setup costs that only make sense to spread across a larger batch.

Category-specific tooling

Categories like footwear or leatherwear need molds or dies set up per style, raising the efficient minimum.

MOQ & timeline — common questions

Can multiple colors or sizes count toward one MOQ?

Often, yes. Many styles allow multiple colorways or a full size run to be combined to reach the batch minimum — tell us your target mix and we'll confirm whether it applies to your product.

Does the timeline change during peak season?

Lead times can extend during high-demand periods, similar to most manufacturing facilities. We'll flag this upfront if your order falls in a busier production window.

Can we combine multiple product categories in one shipment?

Yes. Multi-category orders are common and can ship together once every style clears QC, which also helps spread freight cost across more units.

What if we need fewer pieces than the sample MOQ?

Talk to us about your goal — for very early concept testing, we can sometimes advise alternative approaches before committing to a full sample run.

Do repeat orders move faster than a first order?

Yes. Once a style is approved and in our system, repeat orders skip most of the sampling stage and move straight to bulk production, usually cutting several weeks off the total timeline.
